… says he’s a man of tremendous capacity
Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, the YPP Gubernatorial Candidate of the just concluded Governorship election in Akwa Ibom State has declared his support for Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio for the Senate President race.
Speaking on a live TV program tagged “FOCUS” on AIT today, 30th May, 2023, the Senator declared his total support for Akpabio stating that Akpabio is a man of tremendous capacity.
“Looking at the person so identified which is Godswill Obot Akpabio, I was his commissioner for Finance. I was privileged to work with him for almost 8 years before he brought the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel. I can attest to his capacity, his vision and passion for development and I believe for a man like our President, Asiwaju, he needs an Akpabio to compliment that. Akpabio has tremendous capacity. It’s not about coming from the South South, it is a force and I believe he will do best because while he was in the National Assembly, I knew what he did and he will continue to do his best” he said.
As the Senate President race continues, Senator Akpabio has earned the support of the people and with the look of things, he remains the best choice for the Senate President seat as the position is zoned to South South.
