Professor of Economics and lecturer at the University of Uyo, Prof. Chris Ekong, has said that if voted into office as governor of Akwa Ibom State, he would provide solutions to the economic puzzle of the state.

Prof. Chris, popularly known as Otrico stated this yesterday, (Tuesday) during a chat with newsmen in Uyo where he dropped the hint on his 2023 governorship aspiration.

Ekong who is also known within the state’s political space as ‘King of the Youths’ is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Uyo-born politician who is a Development and Monetary Economist is also Akwa Ibom’s former Commissioner for Youth and Sports as well as erstwhile Commissioner for Economic Development. He is also a former Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of Akwa Ibom State.
