A businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has arrived at the Federal High Court, Lagos, for his arraignment for allegedly abusing the naira.

Cubana Chief Priest’s arraignment is part of efforts by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to curb the trend of abuse of the Nigerian currency by spreading same publicly during occasions.

It would be recalled that a popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky was last week sentenced to six (6) months imprisonment without an option of fine by a Lagos court for abusing the Naira.

If found guilty, Cubuna Chief may be the next person convicted for offences bordering on the inappropriate use and handling of the Naira.
