The governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno has been described an asset of inestimable value to the state and humanity at large. This assertion was part of a goodwill message signed by the Transition Committee Chairman, Etim Ekpo Local Government Council; Hon Ekpuk Eshiet to the governor on the occasion of the latter’s 60th birthday anniversary.Hon Eshiet in the message tagged ‘A Toast To A Golden Governor At 60’ acknowledged Pastor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda which he reasoned had become a rallying point across all strata in the state.
The Council Boss said “Your Excellency, your quest for an egalitarian Akwa Ibom State as clearly captured in the ARISE Agenda has given credence and emboldened this eulogy.
Today, ARISE Agenda has become the rallying point for social re-engineering amongst the youths, women and elderly in Akwa Ibom State.
Your astuteness in fostering hope among widows and the vulnerable through the ARISE Food Security Program and ARISE Compassionate Homes across the length and breadth of the State have been topnotch, a clear indication and an eloquent testimony that you are an asset of inestimable value, first to Akwa Ibom State and then to humanity at large”.
