“The inauguration which shall be graced by the Iyalode of Abuja and National Coordinator of AWCS, Chief Mrs. Toyin Badmus as Special Guest of Honour, shall also feature empowerment of Akwa Ibom women. Come and be part of the empowerment for better life”

Earlier in the week, the leader of AWCS in the State, Dr. Theresa, while speaking to newsmen in Uyo had encouraged Akwa Ibom women to join the Cooperative Society for different benefits which according to her, included but not limited to various forms of empowerment.

She stressed that gone were the days when women could not venture into their chosen areas of business due to lack of funds. Mrs. Theresa noted that AWCS was out to provide succor to the women with a view to making them self-reliant”.
