Plans have been concluded to commit the remains of Late Evangelist Ene Emmanuel Udofia, wife of the Primate of the African Church, to mother earth.

A release issued by the Burial Publicity Chairman, Rev. Richard Peters informs that the event will take place on Saturday, 2nd of October, 2021; following a service of songs at the Primate’s Cathedral in Utu Abak, Abak, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, and Condolence Visits at his Country Home in Nto Mbadum, Ika, Akwa Ibom State on Wednesday, September 29 through Friday, October 1st.

Confirmed by Chairman of the Burial Central Planning Committee, Most Rev’d Israel Benson, the release also states that the funeral service will be conducted at St. Francis Catholic School, Nto Udo Enwan in Ika Local Government Area, after a commendation service at Primate Udofia’s Cathedral in Utu Abak, Abak Local Government Area.

It further invites members of the African church, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and well-wishers to join them in giving the Primate’s wife a befitting farewell.

Until her death, the late Evangelist Ene Emmanuel Udofia was the President of the African Church Women’s League.
