The APC Bridge Builders (ABB), a pro All Progressives Congress group in Akwa Ibom state has congratulated her Chairman of Elders’ Council; Chief (Arc) Otu Ita Toyo as he clocks 70 years old.
A soirée held today in Honour of the septuagenarian at Sheer Grace Event Centre, Nsikak Eduok Avenue, Uyo had in attendance prominent Nigerians from all walks of life including the Deputy Governor-elect and Senator representing Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District; Sen. Akon Eyakanyi, a former State Secretary of APC and Director-General of ABB; Dr. Effiong Etok, amongst others.
In a goodwill message at the occasion, ABB while extolling the sterling qualities of the celebrator, lauded his humility and selflessness in service to humanity.
The message which was signed by Director-General; Dr. Effiong Etok and Director of Media and Strategic Communications; Ime Silas read thus “It is with deep gratitude to the Almighty God that we write to express our profound gladness in associating with a highly cerebral and illustrious son of Akwa Ibom State, Chief (Arch.) Otu Ita Toyo as he marks his 70th birthday anniversary today.
“We are still in want of appropriate adjectives to describe this very man who deservedly earned the ‘Total Chair’ appellation due to the totality of wits and commitment he brought to bear while serving as State Chairman of the PDP, Akwa Ibom State Chapter, as well as other positions of responsibility.
Since joining our Party; The APC, ‘Total Chair’ has never failed to contribute his scintillating ideas in pursuit of our success. At ABB where he serves as Chairman of Elders’ Council, he’s never been found wanting in rendering his services, all in a bid to facilitate the enthronement of a people-oriented leadership in our dear state.
“Chief Otu Ita Toyo is indeed a jolly good fellow. He does not permit his status in every sphere of sociopolitical endeavor to restrain him from mixing freely with everyone, regardless of class. He is a an epitome of wisdom, contentment and humility, little wonder God is preserving him for services to humanity.
