Hon. Sulaiman Lekan Gadaff has described the passing of the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, as a great loss to humanity.
In a message endorsed by his Media Team, Gadaff noted that he was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, Alhaji Laaro Buhari, who departed this life yesterday 10th, May, 2024. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Balogun Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, and the entire Ilorin Emirate.
The message averred that the late Balogun Gambari was a respected leader, a devoted statesman, and a champion of peace and development. His contributions to the growth and progress of Ilorin will never be forgotten. His wisdom, guidance, and leadership will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
“In this moment of grief, I pray that Almighty Allah grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May He also grant the late Balogun Gambari eternal rest and admit him into Aljannah Firdaus. Aameen”, the release concluded.
