Concerned Nigerians have continued to lend their voices to th appeals to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to consider restoring Dr. Betta Edu to her position as Honourable Minister for Humanitarian Affairs.

Such appeals are anchored on the Cross River-born philanthropist’s youthful strength and resourcefulness as well as dedication which she had brought to bear in the discharge of her duties as Humanitarian Affairs’ Minister.

Since Dr. Edu’s suspension months ago, the country has witnessed various peaceful processions, press conferences and statements by Nigerians appealing for her reinstatement with the latest coming from Abdoul Yalwa.

According to Abdoul, the suspended Minister had shown compassion and empathy through her various philanthropic initiatives, hence the appeals across Nigeria for the lifting of her suspension.

Parts of Abdoul’s statement reads “Dr. Betta Edu has been known for her exceptional dedication to the welfare of vulnerable populations, particularly orphans, through her various philanthropic initiatives and programs. She has shown great compassion and empathy towards those in need, working tirelessly to ensure that Nigerian orphans have access to essential healthcare services, education, and a loving home environment.
