.. Following an audio leak indicating that cross dresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky who was convicted of a crime and sentenced to six months in jail was given an apartment outside the custodial centre.

They are:
Michael Anugwa, Deputy Controller of Corrections (DCC), In-Charge of Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC), Kiri-kiri, Lagos State; and Sikiru Adekunle, Deputy Controller of Corrections (DCC), In-Charge of Maximum-Security Custodial Centre (MSCC), Kiri-kiri, Lagos State.

The Board has taken the step of suspending ASC II Ogbule Samuel Obinna, who was assigned to the Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC) in Afikpo, Ebonyi State. This decision comes in response to allegations that he accompanied a convicted inmate to a location outside of the Custodial Centre.

In a related matter, the Board has also placed another Senior Officer on suspension, Iloafonsi Kevin Ikechukwu, who serves as the Deputy Controller of Corrections (DCC) and is responsible for the Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC) in Kuje-Abuja. This action comes in response to allegations that he accepted funds on behalf of an inmate.
