…Gov. Udom, Governor-elect; Umo Eno salute New Record Holder

Akwa Ibom-born Hilda Baci has broken the Guinnss Book of Record on longest cooking time competition. Hilda who achieved the feat earlier today dethroned Lata Tandon who set her record in 2019.

Reacting to the development, governor of Akwa Ibom state; His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel said Hilda’s new status was a testimony of richness in the state’s cuisines and culinary expertise.

“By this victory which has united Nigerians and indeed people the world over, around this inspiring pursuit, you have raised the bar on our rich cuisines and culinary expertise. You are indeed our Dakkada Ambassador.

I look forward to hosting you soon and to let other Akwaibomites know that once the passion is right, nothing is impossible to achieve.
