A Cross River Senator, a female, representing Northern Senatorial District of the state, Rose Okoji Oko is dead.
She was aged 63. The late Senator Rose Oko, reportedly died last night at a United Kingdom hospital.
Until her death, she was a second term member of the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
Sen. Oko was the Chairman, Senate Committee on Trade and Investment.
Sen Rose Okoji Oko, was born on 27th September, 1956.
Before her election into the Senate, she was a member of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing Yala/Ogoja Federal Constituency.
