Rundele and Rumuekpe Communities In Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State are under serious siege allegedly by Men of the Nigerian Army.

Our Correspondent reports that all junctions and entrances leading to the Communities have been barricaded.

Unconfirmed reports have it that the Local Vigilante Outfit popularly known as OSPAC allegedly ceased some riffles belonging to the the Military personnel.

According to Belema Tonye who reports for Delta Restoration Media Team, houses and other valuables have been destroyed by fire which emanated from the alleged attack.

As at the time of this report, the authorities of the Nigerian Army in Rivers State have yet to issue a statement on the alleged attack on the two communities by their men, while fforts to get their reaction prove abortive.

Residents of the affected communities who spoke to our correspondent on grounds of anonymity said they were yet to ascertain whether there’s any casualties.
