One of the most famous socioeconomic groups in Akwa Ibom State named Trusted and Gifted Peoples Association (TAGPA) has stepped up its profile as an indigenous businessman, Comrade Okoko Johnson had recently opted to join the group. The business mogul made the move recently when the executive committee of the Association paid him a courtesy call in his office at Mbaba Afia Street, Uyo.
In her opening remark, the President of the Group, Trusted Blessing Edet thanked the businessman, and intimated him of the aims and objectives of the Association. She declared that the aims of the Association, among others, “is to give a helping hand to the less privileged in the society”, adding that “TAGPA is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission to ensure that it lives up to its vision.” While presenting the Group’s constitution to the vibrant business man, Trusted Blessing, however, informed him of the Association’s desire to appoint him as one of the patrons.
While accepting the appointment as a Patron, Comrade Okoko Johnson thanked members of the Association for their resilience and for finding him worthy for the appointment, and prayed God to give him the grace to contribute to the growth of the Association and to the attainment of its goals. He described the Association as visionary.
After accepting the appointment, Mr. Okoko Johnson was decorated with TAGPA’s customised T-shirt and muffler by the President, Trusted Blessing Edet.
