The Chairman of Abak Local Government Council, Hon. Imoh Williams, Esq., has congratulated Mr. Ephraim Inyang-eyen, on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Akwa Ibom state, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, describing his appointment as timely and well-deserved.


The Chairman’s message which was obtained by our paper reads: “On behalf of the Council Executives, staff,  government and people of Abak Local Government Area, I , Hon Barr. Imoh Williams, the Executive Chairman, write to felicitate with you on your appointment as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.

Sir, your appointment at this stage of our political standing can not be anything less than timely, just as it is well-deserved”.

While expressing the hope that the new Chief of Staff’s attributes would help in his new assignment, the Abak Council Boss continues: “You have shown enough character, capacity and charisma needed to run your new position which is very demanding in the task of assisting our dear governor to deliver to the people of the state the needed dividends of democracy and political direction.

We have no doubt, whatsoever, that you shall do all to justify the confidence reposed in you by His Excellency, the Governor”.


Ephraim Inyang-eyen, until his new appointment, was the State Commissioner for Works and he’s to supervise the Works ministry until the appointment of a new commissioner.
