The Lagos State Tailors & Fashion Design Association of Nigeria (LASTFADAN), Agege Local Government Branch, presented one hundred (100) pieces of face masks to Agege Local Government on Monday 11 May, 2020.

During the presentation, the Governor of the Association, Prince Adeosun Jamiu; along with other members and Mr. Kaka Morayo, Chairman of LASCOTA, Agege LG; stated that the association donated the items in support of the council boss, Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi in the fight against the pandemic. He commended the council boss for quality leadership and thanked him for all the palliatives sent to the group to cushion the effect of the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19.

Prince Jamiu also used the occasion to appreciate the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa for all the gestures he extended to members of LASTFADAN; citing Jerusalem Pilgrimage offered to them.

Receiving the face masks on behalf of the council boss; Alhaji Omodele Morufu (aka Olorunwa), Chairman APC Ward A, Agege LG alongside some of his exco members, thanked LASTFADAN for recognising the efforts of the council boss in the fight against the dreadful coronavirus in the local government area.

Alhaji Morufu used the medium to reiterate the commitment of the council boss in this critical period, and advised that residents, traders and stakeholders should collectively support the council in this cause by adhering strictly to the stipulated guidelines to stop the spread of the disease in the council area.
