Today, the honourable minister Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, joins forces with the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Esuabana Nko Asanye, and the great women leading agencies under the ministry to champion the call and theme for IWD 2024: Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress, as we commemorate International Women’s Day.

Women are shattering glass ceilings, leading revolutions in innovation. These are our mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends. They inspire us to reach higher, break boundaries, and rewrite the narrative. Therefore, investing in women accelerates progress for everyone.
