… Congratulates Gov. Emmanuel for ending strong, producing a sucessor

The PDP candidate for Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District in the 2023 election, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem has congratulated the Akwa Ibom State Governor-Elect, Pastor Umo Eno on both his victory at the March 18, 2023 Governorship election and for being given his Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
In a statement in Uyo, the former PDP National Legal Adviser, NLA, noted with delight that the will of the people prevailed at the polls, stating that PDP’s victory at the election has not only secured the state and it’s future but has also guaranteed that the deliberate, conscious, systematic and consistent developmental plan Akwa Ibom State has witnessed under the PDP from 1999 till date cannot and will not be truncated, reversed but sustained and consolidated.
According to Barr Enoidem, despite the fact that he lost his Senatorial bid on February 25, 2023, he was not distracted by the set back because there was a bigger task ahead.
“Today, Akwa Ibom State has won through the resounding election of Pastor Umo Bassey Eno as the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State. May all thanks be unto God who Has been with us as a party and as a people and saw us through the electioneering process and crowned our efforts with victory”, he declared.
Barr Enoidem stated that Pastor Umo Eno’s candidacy which was defined by competence, character, capacity, humility and experience, are endearing qualities which set him out and created an amazing standard for everyone during the campaign, describing Pastor Umo Eno’s victory as deserving.
He noted that with the PDP securing a convincing win in the Governorship and State House of Assembly election, Akwa Ibom people should rest assured that the inherent benefits of the Governor-Elect’s Arise Agenda will not only become a reality but will transform the state positively for the benefit of the people, promising to do all he can to give the incoming administration the needed support and solidarity to achieve success in all it’s envisaged programs and policies.
The PDP Senatorial candidate noted that the pair of Pastor Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi both have the experience, courage, patriotism and zeal to unite the state, heal the wounds of the past, and accelerate the state’s desire to become Nigeria’s epitome of entrepreneural development, Small and Medium Enterprise expansion, rural development and capacity building that will stimulate economic growth and trigger the much needed Industrial revolution towards achieving wealth creation, a strong middle class and an Akwa Ibom State where the youths will be proud owners of businesses and become employers of labour themselves.
He wished the Governor-Elect God’s grace, blessings, wisdom and the strength to justify the confidence the people have reposed in him so as to vindicate Governor Udom Emmanuel who first saw the vision that Akwa Ibom will be safe, peaceful and more prosperous under Pastor Umo Eno than any other aspirant who indicated interest for the office of Governor and thanked Akwa Ibom people for their support towards the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as the next Governor of the state.
Enoidem also specially congratulated Governor Udom Emmanuel for the grace of God upon him which enables him to steer the ship of state to a successful end by producing a successor, ending strong on the completion agenda and in ensuring that the great umbrella, the PDP’s logo and the insignia of our State’s unity remains stronger than he received.
