…Mass Communication set for HND accreditation

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has approved the upgrade of Gbugbu Market in Edu Local Government area to a befitting international market.
Our paper gathers that the project will include standard shops both open and lockup with some to be delivered as storey buildings.
Other facilities will include road network and electrical installations, Police and Fire Stations as well as well laid out circulation space for both vehicular and pedestrian movements.
This, according to the governor, was to further boost the economic activities of the state through the market which attracts international traders and investors from neighboring countries and all parts of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the Kwara State Polytechnic Radio known as Kwara Poly Radio, which the Governor AbdulRazaq-led administration started is set to commence operation.
The underlying essence, our paper learnt is to lead to the accreditation of the Higher National Diploma, HND in Mass Communication in the State-owned Polytechnic.
Governor AbdulRazaq is also building Okuta FM which will be the first radio station in Kwara North as, according to sources close the Government House, is part of his administration’s efforts to give the people from the area easy access to official information, bring government activities closer to the grassroots, and combat fake news.
