State, has congratulated Hilda Baci, who took the world by storm, last month with her Cook-a-thon, which earned her the Guinness World record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, shattering the record previously held by the Indian chef, Lata Tondon
She was officially recognized earlier today by Guinness World Records for her audacious feat.
In a statement released on his behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno, again, saluted the Dakkada spirit of chef Baci. “
“Today, indeed, is a great day for Akwa Ibom State, both at national political level and now the Global stage, where one of our daughters, Hilda Baci, has been officially, recognized by Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
“Your great feat, which celebrates the “ can- do” spirit of our people, has put our State and our rich cuisines on the world map.
“Certainly, Akwa Ibom is rising and, will continue to A.R.I.S.E as the Golden Era dawns.” Congratulations once again”!
