Dr Iniobong Ene Essien, Chairman of Ibom Airport Development Company Ltd, has pledged to collaborate with the A.R.I.S.E Ambassadors in order to promote the ARISE agenda of Governor Umo Eno throughout the State.
During his installation as the Pillar of the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors at his private residence in Uyo on Thursday, Dr Essien expressed his gratitude to the group for recognizing his contribution and appointing him as one of their pillars. He described the formation of the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors as timely and encouraging.
Dr Essien also urged the leadership of the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors to ensure that the public is well-informed about the government’s activities and programs led by Pastor Umo Eno. He emphasized the importance of creating a feedback mechanism through the activities of the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors.
Describing Governor Umo Eno as a capable and passionate leader, Dr Essien expressed his belief that the ARISE agenda, which focuses on agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, security, and education, would greatly benefit the state as a whole.
Dr Essien encouraged the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors to take the Governor’s agenda to the grassroots, particularly the rural areas, in order to educate the people about its benefits.
As a former Commissioner in the state, Dr Essien also pledged his support to the group in achieving its goals.
Revd. Richard Peters, Chairman of the A.R.I.S. E. Ambassadors, stated that the group is dedicated to promoting and defending the ARISE agenda of the Governor, as well as mobilizing citizens to support his success. He revealed plans to expand the group’s reach to all 31 Local Government Areas of the state.
Members of the Board of Trustees; including Chairman Mr Ernest Akpan and Secretary; Hon. Quincy Ukpong, commended Dr Iniobong Essien for his integrity and leadership qualities, expressing their confidence in his ability to contribute to the group’s success.
The event was attended by members of the Board of Trustees and executive members of A.R.I.S. E. Ambassadors.
