Lawyer to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu; Aloy Ejimakor, Esq. has raised the alarm alleging that his client and Leader of the now proscribed group known as the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra ( IPOB) may not be seen again.

Nnamdi who is standing trial on various charges including treasonable felony, is being held in the custody of the Directorate of State Service (DSS) otherwise known as State Security Service (SSS) on the order of a High Court.

He had appeared in court recently during which he urged Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court to recuse self from his case, citing bias to which the judge obliged.

But in a latest development, Nnamdi’s lawyer, Ejimakor via statement circulated in the media alleged that the DSS, in violation of the Constitution and court order blocked his legal team from seeing the accused felon.

He said: “Today, in violation of subsisting court orders & the Constitution, the DSS blocked the Legal Team of MAZI NNAMDI KANU from meeting with him at the detention facility. It appears that the DSS has cancelled all future visitations to #MNK as a retaliation against #MNK “for chasing away Justice Binta Nyako from the case & causing her embarrassment”.”

“What this means is that that the DSS, acting on behalf of the federal government of Nigeria, has unlawfully isolated #MNK from his Lawyers, thus making his solitary confinement absolute. I don’t know when next, if ever, it may be possible to see #MNK again.”
