Recall that Sen. Ifeanyi, who until his demise was an APC (All Progressives Congress) Senator, died in a London hotel after being seriously ill for a few weeks. It was learnt that he had left for London two days before.

Ifeanyi Ubah was a Nigerian politician and businessman who served as Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District.

The late Ubah had business interests in oil and gas, jetty development, bonded terminal, truck park facilities, media, sports development, construction, telecommunication, real estate, and general merchandise.

Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, (Ebubechukwu Uzo na Nnewi), was the CEO/MD of Capital Oil Nigeria Ltd. He also founded and owned Anambra based football club side, Ifeanyi Ubah FC of Nnewi.

The deceased was married to Uchenna, a Business Administration graduate from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, with whom he had 5 children. He also ran a foundation which is named after himself; Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation.

It could also be recalled that in September 2022, Ubah had escaped assassination when he was attacked by gunmen on his way to Anambra State. His convoy was shot at and at least 5 persons, including two policemen, were killed. He survived as the vehicle he was riding in was bulletproof.
