Idara Adiakpan, hails from Afaha Ubium in Onna Local Government of Akwa Ibom State.
A- 2017 University of Uyo graduate of Theatre Arts and Professional Photographer.
Her stint as a photographer dates back to her undergraduate days at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
On graduation and successful completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, programme, she took up a course in Digital Photography at Losgiddy School of Photography, Lagos State after which she set up an ultra modern digital Photographic Studio, “SHOT BY IDARA” in March 2020 at Lagos State.
Idara has, in the course of practice, upgraded her skills in photography by attending Courses and Masterclasses in photography, having been in the tutelage of renowned Photographers as Image Faculty, Ty Bello, Emmanuel Oyeleke, Yemi Kings, Tolani Alli, Ncourage photography, to mention but a few.
Idy, as she is popularly known, has assisted upcoming photographers within and outside the state with tutorials, scholarships and donation of photographic equipment to enable them kickstart and excel in the career.
This underscores her aspiration of taking photography to it zenith and reaching out even more in the profession.
Idy has a large repatoire of Nigerian celebrities whom she has worked with. They include Uti Nwachukwu, Ini Edo, Laura Ikeji, Etinosa, Josh2funny, Emem Isong, among others.
Her dexterity which has earned her the appointment came to the fore in the Umo Eno /Akon Eyakenyi Campaign Organization where she produced excellent shots during the electioneering campaigns culminated in the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
