It gives me joy to join thousands of Akwa Ibom people, Nigerians and global citizens to celebrate with you, His Excellency (Arc) Otu Ita Toyo on this God’s given milestone. Your attainment of the age of 70 is a testament of God’s favour and enduring faithfulness in your life and grants you access to joining our national icons in the septuagenarian club.
By all standards, your life has been a testimony, a true test of loyalty and an addiction to every sense of morality. As Chairman of party and as leader in our great state, your leadership imprints have remained indelible, iconic and a reference point.
Truth, justice and transparency have been your hallmark of leadership. As elder statesman and detribalize leader in our country, you haven’t shied away from the responsibility of playing advisory role, pointing out leadership lapses and proffering useful solutions. This, you have dedicatedly done to retain your place as a visionary leader and conscience of society.
