Giving his reasons at a press conference in London on Friday, he said having occupied the position of the Senate minority leader in 2015, where he performed creditably, his wealth of experience at the Senate, Akpabio if given the opportunity to serve as the Senate President will stabilization the 10th Senate.
According to Uyi, Akpabio’s track records speaks volumes about his capacity and willingness to ensure that young people are carried along in governance.
“Our Major Concern here is that Nigeria has suffered some Major set backs and as a result, we need a pragmatic and erudite personality who is recognised Nationally and Internationally at this time of Nigeria’s history in the comity of Nations”.
“The best man for the job of the Senate President is Godswill Akpabio, representing the good people of Akwa Ibom, North West senatorial district, South South.
