Before you start to mis-inform others, the latest 25% – 35% increase in salary of workers in the public service, research institutes, intelligence, military, police, para-military workers is NOT same as new minimum wage but just an increment for civil servants on the remaining six consolidated salary structures, namely;
- Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Research and Allied Institutions Salary Structure
- Consolidated Police Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Para-military Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Intelligence Community Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Armed Forces Salary Structure.”
Note that New minimum wage has not been announced yet, it will soon be declared to improved on this latest increment
