…Sues for partnership, collaboration

The State Auditor of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Ibanga Udofia, on Friday paid a courtesy visit on the Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon Uko Umoh, in his office at the council secretariat.

During the visit, Prince Udofia and Hon. Umoh brainstormed on ideas aimed at the effective running of the council, party related issues and other sundry matters.

The meeting was an avenue for both leaders to strengthen the relationship between the PDP’s auditing arm and the transition committee.

The Auditor commended the local government chairman for his commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.

Udofia stressed the importance of fostering a robust partnership between the PDP and local government authorities to enhance overall governance and service delivery.

In response, Hon Uko Umoh appreciated the visit and highlighted the significance of collaboration between the party’s auditing body and local government officials.

He said the synergy will promote the party’s ideals at the grassroots level and ensure that the dividends of good governance reach the governed.
