Our paper can authoritatively report that following Sen. Abdul Ningi’s allegation of budget padding against the Senate leadership which led to the former’s suspension yesterday, there have been calls by his sympathizers for the removal of the Senate President, Distinguished Sen. Godswill Akpabio.
It could also be recalled that Sen Bamidele had yesterday, during the rowdy plenary session accused Sen Ningi and some Northern Senators of plotting to topple Akpabio’s leadership of the Senate.
