...as Borno Senate Caucus, Chief of Air Staff, Security Chiefs, ors pay condolence visits
Members of Borno Senate Caucus, led by the Senator representing central senatorial district, Senator Kashim Shettima were on Thursday in Maiduguri to condole with government and people of Borno over the death of Chief of Staff to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on Wednesday.
The Governor equally received the Chief of Air Staff, Sadiq Baba Abubakar on a condolence visit over the death of the Chief of Staff, Dr. Babagana Wakil.
“It’s a huge lost not sure only to you but for the government and people of Borno, and to all of us that have been opportuned to meet the Chief of Staff. He is always there, always ready, always working. We are not even sure of what to say, but we believe that Allah gives life, and Allah takes life. May his soul rest in peace.” Air Marshal Sadiq said.
Similarly, the state security chiefs led by the GOC 7 DIV Nigerian Army, Brigadier General AK Ibrahim were also in the state to condole the government and the people of Borno state over dead of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Brigadier General Ibrahim said though he knew that all living things must taste death, but he however said that they received the news with utmost shock.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Director University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor led by Sheikh Mohamed Mustapha, were among many others who paid condolences to Gov. Babagana Umara Zulum.
