Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, today attended the maiden meeting of the BRACED (Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo and Delta) Commission in Benin City of Edo State.
Hosted by the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, the Commission was established in 2010 under Article 14 of the BRACED Agreement and signed on June 13, 2011.
Governor Eno was accompanied by his Commissioner for Economic Development, Mr. Emem Bob to the maiden meeting which focus on how to revive and strengthen the BRACED Commission and the region’s aspiration for the collective economic development and integration.
