A video currently trending on the social media suggests that the popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope is still alive.
An earlier report was that four actors including Junior Pope had passed on. It was reported that they fell into Anam River in Anambra State, on their way back from a movie location and got drowned.
According to a social media user, Junior Pope had earlier shared a video of himself and others on a boat, on their way to the movie location.
Captioning the video, he wrote: “See me lamenting….The risk we take to entertain you; crossing river Niger yesterday with no life jacket…. Na wahooooo Who does that ??”
The 39-year-old Junior is married to Jennifer Awele, and they have three children together.
Millions of well-wishers and social media users have continued to pray for his and others’ quick recovery.
