Chief of Staff to Nigeria’s President, Gambari

The Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi has congratulated a seasoned scholar-diplomat of Kwara descent, Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari.

Danladi, in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Ibrahim Sheriff, described the appointment of Prof. Gambari as the right peg in a right hole, considering the erudite scholar and renowned diplomat’s rich background, which would be brought to bare at this challenging period of our national sojourn.

“On behalf of the 9th legislature of Kwara state, I congratulate Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, CFR and indeed Kwarans over the appointment of yet, another illustrious Kwaran to serve as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari”, Danladi said.

He added, “We are optimistic the history of Kwara state producing one of the best Chief of Staff to the Presidency will repeat itself, judging from the capability and competence Prof. Gambari is known for, both at national, regional and the global fronts”.

“As much as Mr. President, we are confident Prof. Gambari will handle the exalted position with all the commitment and patriotism it requires in our nation’s interest.”

“With recent development in our national polity, His Excellency, Mr. President have conspicuously and consistently shown his love for Kwara and Kwarans, for which we hold in high esteem and take to heart. We shall continue to support the vision of this administration to further deliver good governance to Nigerians.

The legislator prays for God’s guidance and wisdom for the appointee to discharge his new assignment dutifully, while urging Nigerians, across sociopolitical divides to put the country first and support President Muhammadu Buhari and State governments in the fight against COVID-19, that we may emerge victorious and stronger.
