The PDP candidate for Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District in the 2023 general election, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem has congratulated His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio, CON, on his emergence as President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and consequently the Chairman of the 10th National Assembly.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Uyo, the former PDP National Legal Adviser, NLA and National Chairman of Maintain Peace Movement, MPM, said Senator Akpabio’s emergence as President of the Senate was well deserved and commended him for resilience and doggedness.
He noted that he has no doubt that the new Senate President will use his elevation to the office of the Senate President to enact and motivate the enactment of legislations that will be people oriented, catalysts that will jump start the Nigerian economy for the much needed development that will impact on job creation, infrastructural renaissance, national security and unification of the country.
“I believe that while you will be constantly conscious of your responsibilities for your immediate constituency: the Akwa Ibom Northwest Senatorial District, you will use your preeminent position to further and advance the cause of Akwa Ibom State at all times”.
“I wish you God’s grace, wisdom, understanding, sound health and courage to lead the 10th Senate on the right path for the good of humanity”, he stated.
