By Ime SilasChairman of Etinan Local Government Council, Hon Uko Umoh has expressed his readiness to collaborate with all formal and informal security apparatuses in the area for the purpose of ensuring a safe and secure Etinan.

So, as far as security is concerned, I am ever ready to collaborate with both formal and informal security institutions in securing the lives and property of my people. This is because I know that without security, there’s no tangible development”.

Speaking on his developmental plans for his people, the Etinan Council Boss continued “I’m happy that you guys are working with the police. I will give you all the necessary supports within the Council’s capacity in order to help you double your efforts.

One thing that bothers me most is this issue of nonavailability of banks in Etinan. Imagine a long standing local government area like Etinan existing without a bank, all because of insecurity. How do business people operate?

But fortunately, I have had fruitful discussions with about three banks and very soon, they would commence gradual operations here. So, your services would be highly needful in the area of information sharing with the police and other relevant security agencies for the purpose of providing security.
