The Honourable Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun has been quoted to have said that after evaluating the wedding of singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido held yesterday, there’s no poverty in Nigeria.
The Minister whose remark was reported in sections of the Media also noted that life in the country was far more better than it used to be in the past.
Recall that Davido on June 25 tied the nuptial knot with his heartthrob, Chioma in a well-attended event codenamed ‘Chivido’ in Lagos. The event had in attendance billionaires across walks of life within and outside Nigeria.
Reacting to the fabulous wedding, the Minister reportedly said “From our evaluation from David’s wedding yesterday, the is no poverty in the country. Live is far more better now than before”.
