The newly elected Chairman of Ikole local government area of Ekiti State, Hon. Bayo Omojola has pledged to run a transparent and accountable government.
Omojola, who stated this in his inaugural speech equally pledged to prioritise inclusivity where the voice of every resident of the area is heard.
He called on the people of the area to actively participate in governance towards a more stronger and vibrant local government area.
“As we embark on this journey together, let us be guided by a shared commitment to progress, unity, and service. Our community holds immense potential, and it is our collective responsibility to unlock and harness that potential for the betterment of every resident.
“I pledge to lead with transparency, accountability, and an unwavering dedication to the well-being of our people. Together, we will address the challenges that may come our way and capitalize on the opportunities that lie ahead.
“My administration will prioritize inclusivity, ensuring that every voice is heard, and every perspective considered. We are one united Local Government, and our strength lies in our diversity.
“Let us work hand in hand to create an environment where businesses flourish, education thrives, and every individual can lead a dignified life. I call upon each one of you to actively participate in the journey of building a stronger, virile and more vibrant Ikole Local Government.”
