Nigeria’s Vice President; His Excellency, Kashim Shettima has ted newly appointed Inspector-General of Police (IGP); Kayode Egbetokun with his new rank as the topmost Police Officer in the Nation.

Kashim Shettima stood in for Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is out for an official assignment in France. National Security Adviser; Nuhu Ribadu, the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum; Hope Uzodinma, the President’s Chief of Staff; Femi Gbajabiamila, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Sen. George Akume and the immediate past IGP; Usman Alkali were in attendance.

Bola Tinubu dissolved and appointed New Security Chiefs yesterday in a bid to stabilise security in the country.
