The Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator (Dr) Akon Eyakenyi has extended her goodwill to the Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, the First Lady, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno and all Akwa Ibom people on the dawn of the new year.
This was disclosed in a message signed by the Special Assistant/Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Omen Bassey.
In a goodwill message published on her social media handles, Senator Eyakenyi according to Esin, stated that the election of Governor Umo Eno as Governor was the most important blessing enjoyed by the State in 2023, noting that, considering the achievements of the Governor in just six months and the signing into law of the 2024 Appropriation Bill, Akwa Ibom people should rejoice and expect remarkable changes across sectors and segments of the State:
“His Excellency’s election as Governor was probably our most important blessing in 2023.
“With what he has already started and implemented in just six months in office as well as the signing into law of the 2024 budget, christened ARISE Budget for Growth and Expansion, Akwa Ibom people have every reason to cheer and expect remarkable changes across sectors and segments of the State this year.” She said.
She prayed God to take the State higher and grant her peace throughout 2024 and beyond.
