In the spirit of the New Year celebrations, the Transition Chairman, Nsit Atai Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Emem Ibanga yesterday paid separate visits to the Paramount Ruler of the local government area, HRM Edidem Peter Okon Effiong, all the Village Heads, titled Chiefs and women in Nsit Atai. The Council helmsman was accompanied during visitations by members of the Transition Committee.

Speaking at the Palace, the Chairman thanked God for the good health granted the Royal father and members of his Council, noting that their fatherly roles helped keep Nsit Atai safe and peaceful thus far.

The Council Boss who also used the visitations to express her appreciation to the state governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno for finding her and other women in the state fit to be appointed as Transition Chairpersons, reiterated her resolve to leave the local government area better than she met it. She solicited the traditional father’s prayers to enable the governor succeed in delivering on his campaign promises to the people of the state.

While suing for continued cooperation between her administration and the traditional institution in Nsit Atai, she maintained that such harmonious relationship would guarantee peace and development.

The separate visitations featured merriments as well as presentations of gifts by the Nsit Atai Council boss to the Paramount Ruler, Village Heads, titled Chiefs and women of the local government area.
