The State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Akpan has tasked stakeholders and members of the Party in Asang ward 4 in Nsit Ibom LGA to work as a team for the sake of the Party, maintaining that with unity the people will benefit more from Government.
The Party Chairman said this on Wednesday when he played host to PDP stakeholders in Asang Ward 4 who paid a courtesy call on him in the State Secretariat of the Party. Rt. Hon. Akpan used the occasion to commend the Ward Leader, Dr. Ekpedeme Udom for her leadership style, and asked the party faithful to queue behind her.
Speaking earlier, the Political Leader of Asang Ward 4, Dr. Ekpedeme Udom thanked the State Chairman for giving the PDP Stakeholders of Asang Ward 4 the opportunity to meet with him despite his tight schedule. She used the opportunity to present some returnees from the Ward to him, and assured him of total support from the Ward to the party and to the Governor.

Ubong Ekong (former Councillor, Asang 4 and former Vice Chairman/ former Chairman, Nsit Ibom LGA), Hon. Nsikan Umoh (former Councillor Asang 4/former Leader, Nsit Ibom Legislative Council), Hon. Elder David Udosen (former Councillor, Asang 4), Hon. David Thomas (former Councillor, Asang 4), Hon. Mrs. Joy Emmanuel Udo (immediate past councillor, Asang 4), Hon. Victor Ibanga (former councillor, Asang 4), Hon. Eno Udonsek (immediate past Council Secretary, Nsit Ibom), Hon. Justina Jackson Usanga (PA to the Governor), Engr. Ema Ekong, Engr. Comrade Idongesit John (immediate past NNPP House of Assembly candidate for Nsit Ibom), Elder Itoro Edet Joseph (PDP Ward Executive member), Thomas Thomas, among others.
