The administration of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a budget of N37.2 billion for the construction of a new Court of Appeal building in Abuja.

This project is aimed at providing a modern and efficient facility for the judiciary to carry out its functions effectively, according to media reports.

In addition, the government has also allocated N12.5 billion for the purchase of 200 SUVs for the Nigerian Customs Service. This investment is intended to enhance the operational capacity of the Customs Service and improve its ability to combat smuggling and other illicit activities at the country’s borders.

These significant investments in infrastructure and equipment, pundits say, demonstrate the Tinubu government’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law and enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in Nigeria.
