The Vice President, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria after a productive week where he represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

Joining World Leaders and Business Executives, Shettima showcased Nigeria’s potentials and commitment to global cooperation, leaving with valuable insights and renewed momentum for the nation’s progress.

The Vice President played a key role in launching the Private Sector Action Plan for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) among many other things. 

Projects profiled in this action plan include the mobilization of financing to upgrade infrastructure in the transport and logistics sector, the development and deployment of green technologies in the automotive sector, the expansion of initiatives to move more of the agriculture value chain to the continent, and commitments by pharmaceutical companies on workforce, innovation, finance, policy, and inclusivity.
