Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Sen. Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria after representing President Bola Tinubu GCFR at the just concluded International Development Association (#IDA21) Summit held in Nairobi, Kenya.
The VP who announced his arrival via a post circulated on his verified Social Media handles also stated that he met on arrival with the Deputy Secretary of the United States of America, Kurt Campbell and his team behind closed doors during.
“This evening I returned to Nigeria after representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the just concluded International Development Association (#IDA21) Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
On arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, I met behind closed doors with the United States Deputy Secretary, Kurt Campbell, and his team”, the VP said.
Hinting on the meeting, the Nigeria’s number two man added “Among issues discussed at the meeting were security, bilateral relations, shared visions, technological cooperation, economic and mutual partnership.
Both countries pledged to work more on deepening their bilateral relationships and their connectivity”.
