Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Lagos earlier today for some engagements. He was received by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
Shortly after landing, the Vice President made his way to the palace of the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, to pay his respects to the traditional ruler.
From the Oba’s palace, Vice President Shettima traveled to the palace of the Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawan to pay homage to the king.
The Vice President is expected to meet with political leaders, the business community, and other stakeholders during his time in Lagos.
