Dear Nigerian Women,
As we commemorate International Women’s Day, it is with great pride and admiration that I extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you. Today, we celebrate the remarkable contributions, unwavering strength, and boundless resilience of Nigerian women across all walks of life.
In the face of challenges and adversity, Nigerian women have consistently demonstrated their unparalleled ability to rise above and excel. From the boardroom to the classroom, from the marketplace to the halls of government, our women have continually shattered glass ceilings, defied stereotypes, and paved the way for future generations.
This year’s theme, “Break the Bias: Celebrating Women’s Achievements and Challenging Gender Stereotypes,” resonates deeply with our shared commitment to fostering gender equality and empowering women and girls. As the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I am steadfast in my dedication to advocating for policies and initiatives that promote the advancement and inclusion of women in all spheres of society.
