The Labour Party governorship candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Akwa Ibom State; Obong Uduak Udoh has assured that if elected as governor, his government would make life more meaningful for all residents of the state.
Obong Udoh’s assurance was part of his New Year message to his supporters and entire people of Akwa Ibom State.
The message dated 1st January, 2023 and signed by the Labour Party governorship hopeful, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent reads thus: “My fellow Akwa Ibomites, I welcome you all to the New Year 2023. Fear not for tomorrow and be not afraid of the future. Let us have hope in God’s promise that He will do a new thing as recorded in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 43 verse 19.
“Be encouraged. Come and partner with me in the task of rebuilding our dear Akwa Ibom State.
“If elected as governor by God’s grace, Labour Party government under my watch will guarantee a very bright future that would make life truly meaningful for all residents in Akwa Ibom state. It is a promise that must be fulfilled. Together, we will appreciate God’s benevolence. I wish you all a Happy and prosperous New Year”.
