Statistics of killings and Kidnapping in Nigeria by Regions in 2023

A comparison of fatalities in each Nigeria  geopolitical region for the year 2023 showed that the:

1.North-East topped with -3,412 cases

2. North-West zone with 2,290 fatalities

3. North-Central with 2,002 fatalities

4.South-West recorded 774 fatalities.

5. South-South recorded 698 fatalities.

6. South-East recorded 558.

For the abductions, the:

1. North-West recorded 1,728 cases.

2.  North-Central with 1,006 cases; 

3. North -East had 795 cases.
