…as Governor-elect Presents Certificate of Return

Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Architect Obong Victor Attah has stated that the victory of Pastor Umo Eno as Akwa Ibom Governor-elect is divinely ordained.

The elder stateman made this known when the governor-elect paid an appreciation visit to show him his Certificate of Return shortly after receiving same from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Uyo, the State capital.

The visibly elated father of modern Akwa Ibom said the successful election of Pastor Umo Eno is an affirmation of his divine mandate and urged him to endeavour to fulfill the wishes of the people.

According to him, “I appreciate the governor-elect and family for honouring me by coming to show me your Certificate of Return. Now that I have seen it, I like to let you know, it is my conviction that your selection as the preferred candidate and the eventual success at the governorship election is divinely ordained.

“Therefore, I hope that you know that you have a responsibility to fulfill God’s will and touch the lives of our people in ways they have never seen before,” he added.

Obong Attah stated that one of the most important achievements of the next administration should be the maintenance of the peace currently enjoyed in the state.

While showing the certificate to Obong Attah, Pastor Eno appreciated him for his support, prayers, and especially for presenting him to the Akwa Ibom people.

He reiterated his determination to further on the peace, security and development of the state through the ARISE Agenda.

Pastor Eno who was accompanied by his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno and the Deputy Governor-elect, Senator Akon Eyakenyi said the victory was the beginning of a golden era for Akwa Ibom and urged everyone to come on board.

He promised to bring happiness and economic growth to the lives of all Akwa Ibomites.
